The German conversation group meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at Margaret C's.

Most of us have not used German since schooldays or holidays long ago but we have a couple of good German speakers through family or work connections and they help us out if we are stuck.

We try to recount what we have done since we last met. We may read a story or play some word games but after an hour or so testing our brains we dissolve into English with tea and cake!
