The u3a Explorers group explores interesting and diverse places in Cornwall and West Devon.

Generally our trips have larger numbers unless we are restricted by the venue. Although we have an initial membership list, our trips are open to everyone in the u3a on a 'first come, first served' basis.

Details of trips are announced at the u3a monthly meetings and lists are on the Explorers table.

It is important with such large numbers that a contact telephone and email address is included on the list.

If you are interested in a trip which is full, it is always advisable to put your name and contact details on the waitlist.

Please arrange your own transport to events. Some members are willing to give lifts.

Please make sure you carry to all events your U3a card with emergency contact numbers and details of important medication, health conditions and allergies

Suggestions are welcome for new places to visit.

3. Thursday October 15th 10am a visit to Agricol Growers at West Antony Farm , PL11 3AB. Food processing providing vegetables for Ginsters and other local food processors. Anne Gibson is organising this trip, her contact details are on your membership programme. Further information will be given at the September U3a meeting in the Public Hall, Liskeard.

No jewellery can be worn on our visit and we have been asked to wear sensible shoes. We will be required to fill in a health questionnaires, so please do not attend if you have had a stomach bug within 48hrs of the visit or have been in contact with anyone with an infectious condition.
