We meet once a month on the last Friday of the month at Lux Park leisure centre car park, usually leaving at 9.15am
Some walks leave at 9am so please check the time posted on this page before setting off. Leaders can usually be contacted on their mobile phones if you need to do so.
On average we walk a distance of about 4 miles depending on the terrain.
This is an open group, so is open to anybody to join. We have a group of regular walkers but we welcome anyone to join us on our walks. We invariably take a coffee and snack.
We sometimes have to shorten the walk or even cancel at short notice if the weather forecast is particularly bad, but generally we are a hardy bunch and manage to complete them.
If the weather is poor please check with the walk leader before leaving home, as walks can be cancelled at short notice.
If you cannot make a walk please contact the organiser and let them know.
